A Baba’s Collection and Recollection
12 to 28 February 2009
An exhibition featuring a very personal collection of Peranakan artefacts accumulated through the years.
The collection includes old photographs, beadwork, costumes and books which showcases the lifestyle, hobbies and pastime of the Peranakans.
In this exhibition the collector, Richard Wee, pays tribute to his heritage as well as shares his interest in the Peranakan culture with others.
Admission is Free.
Note: For the 2 Sundays, 15 and 22 Feb, Pauseability will open earlier at 2 pm instead of 4 pm
The daily opening hours are from 11.30 am on Sat, 2 pm on weekdays and we close at 10 pm.
We are closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
20 Feb update: As the chef is unable to make it, the cooking demo on 22 Feb will be replaced with a beading demo instead. Our apologies.
